For the VMAs 2024, I led the team behind MTV Latin America’s digital coverage, shaping the strategy from pre-show content to live event coverage and post-show recaps. We built a fast, platform-native system across subtitles, news, memes, and region-specific adaptations for Cono Norte, Cono Sur, and Brazil, including AI-supported workflows that helped scale content and drive 423.6M views globally.

The results strengthened MTV Latin America’s visibility within the global VMAs conversation and showcased the scale of its digital event coverage.

✦ Delivered 423.6M global views, making Latin America the #1 international market in views and engagement
✦ Generated 37M interactions, representing 24% of the global total
✦ Latin America and Brazil together accounted for 21% of all global views
✦ Increased publishing volume by 53.5% compared to previous years
✦ A TikTok featuring Karol G and Taylor Swift became one of the strongest-performing pieces of the campaign
